Portfolio

The businesses we back.

Established private companies, led by people we trust, and held for the long term.

Our portfolio, in brief

Partnerships, not a list of logos

Everston Partners invests in established private companies and holds them for the long term, alongside the people who run them. Each investment is a partnership with a leadership team, built around its business plan.

We do not publish the names of the companies we work with. Their owners and managers trust us with conversations that are not meant for public view, and we keep it that way.

Why we keep our portfolio private
Where we invest

Founder succession

A founder is planning what comes next and wants the business to stay in the right hands, with the transition funded and the people considered.

Growth for established owners

An owner has built a sound company and wants capital and counsel for its next stage, without losing what makes it work.

Management buy-outs

A leadership team wants to own the business it runs, on terms agreed early and in writing.

Shared ownership

A company wants its key people to hold a real stake in the outcome, so the people who build the value share in it.

What our businesses have in common

Good businesses, led by people worth backing

  • Established private companies with a record of results
  • Leaders who want a long-term partner, not a quick exit
  • Businesses where people are the real advantage
  • A plan we can agree on together, in writing

Sector, size and structure are considered case by case. If you are unsure whether your company fits, ask.

How we stay involved

We stay close after we invest

The relationship starts at the deal and continues for the life of the investment.

  1. Hiring and leadership

We help recruit the next layer of leadership, and develop the people already in the business.

  2. Board and governance

Partners sit with management on the board and keep the plan honest, without taking over day-to-day decisions.

  3. Coaching and support

Leaders have a partner to think things through with, at any stage of the business.

  4. Hard decisions

When a decision is difficult, we are there to help, in private and without public attention.
